Shimano Sojourn Muskie Telescopic Casting Rod

The Shimano Sojourn Muskie Telescopic Casting Rod is built to handle the oversized lures, heavy tackle, and hard-fighting fish that come with serious muskie fishing, while making a long rod considerably easier to transport.

Shimano designed the longer Sojourn Muskie casting models with a telescopic construction, allowing the rod to collapse down for easier storage in a vehicle, boat, or rod locker without sacrificing the length needed for casting large muskie baits and controlling powerful fish. Shimano's current 8'0", 8'0" Extra Heavy, and 8'6" Extra Extra Heavy casting models all feature the telescopic design.

The redesigned Sojourn Muskie series also features an upgraded guide train with double-footed guides and a wire-frame tip top for improved durability. Fast actions provide the responsiveness and power needed for working large bucktails, swimbaits, jerkbaits, and other muskie presentations.
