As the angler casts the lure, an internal magnet forces the body to fold into a compact shape to reduce the chances of the lure spinning during flight and lessen air resistance. Once the Armajoint hits the water, the lure body reengages with the internal magnet to create smooth and natural swimming action with slow-floating action.

The Armajoint Swimbait will normally swim in an S-pattern, but the bait will not flare out when stopped due to the unique fold in its body.
