Orvis Hydros IV Fly Reel

The Orvis Hydros IV Fly Reel delivers smooth, dependable performance for anglers targeting larger fish with 7–9 weight fly rods. Its redesigned large arbor provides faster line retrieval, while the fully sealed carbon and stainless steel disc drag offers consistent resistance and protects internal components from water and debris. Built with a machined aluminum frame and spool with durable Type II anodizing, the Hydros IV also features an ergonomic drag knob, machined aluminum handle, and tool-free conversion between left- and right-hand retrieve. Well suited for big streamers, bass, pike, trout spey, and light saltwater applications, this reel combines practical durability with the capacity and control needed for demanding fishing conditions.
