Dr. Slick Cyclone Nipper

The Dr. Slick Cyclone Nippers are built for anglers who want serious cutting performance in a compact, lightweight tool.

Each Cyclone Nipper uses tungsten carbide cutters rated at 70+ Rockwell hardness mounted on a 2.25" 6061-T6 anodized aluminum frame. The cutting system is designed to handle modern tippet materials, including braid and even coated wire up to 20 lb, making these nippers useful for everything from everyday trout rigs to heavier fishing applications.

A built-in hook file and heavy-duty hook-eye cleaner/knot detangler add extra streamside utility, while the replaceable cutter system helps extend the life of the tool. Dr. Slick includes replacement cutters, screws, a steel retention ring, and a hex key with each Cyclone Nipper.

Available with straight or offset cutting faces depending on the model, the Cyclone Nipper is a compact cutting tool built for anglers who use their nippers constantly and want something tougher than a basic stamped-metal design.
