Logan River Fishing Report

The Logan came up a little more this week. Above State Dam is running about 107 CFS, up from around 95. It's still clear, but there's a lot more holding water now and the fish are spread out and feeding.

With the storms this week, cloudy afternoons should bring on the BWOs. Midges are still the morning deal. The browns are getting aggressive ahead of the spawn, so a small streamer in the deeper runs is worth a shot, just watch for redds. We haven't seen a fresh report from anyone else this week, so this is based on flows and the time of year. Remember to watch the State Dam gauge, the Cache Highline number includes canal water.
