Blacksmith Fork River Fishing Report

Blacksmith Fork hasn't moved, still about 48 CFS and running low and clear. The big change this week is the weather. It's cooling down and the storms should give you some cloud cover, which helps on a river this spooky.

It's mostly a brown trout river and they're feeling the fall. Small nymphs and midges are still the most consistent, and BWOs should start showing on the cloudy afternoons. Hopper season is about done. We haven't seen a fresh report from anyone this week, so go in expecting technical fishing.
