Umpqua Perform X HD Salmon/Steelhead Nylon Leader

The Umpqua Perform X HD Salmon/Steelhead Nylon Leader is designed for the demanding conditions of salmon and steelhead fishing. Constructed from durable, abrasion-resistant nylon with moderate stiffness, this tapered leader provides dependable strength and effective fly turnover when fishing larger flies and heavy rigs. Available in 5-foot, 8-foot, and 10-foot lengths, the shorter leaders are ideal for presenting Intruder-style flies with heavy sink tips, while the longer configurations excel at swinging traditional wet flies on floating lines. Offered in 8lb through 20lb strengths, the Perform X HD Salmon/Steelhead Leader provides versatile performance for anglers fishing anadromous rivers.
