Hatch Iconic 9 Plus Fly Reel

The Hatch Iconic 9 Plus Fly Reel is built for demanding saltwater and big-game fishing where smooth, dependable drag performance is essential. Precision-machined in Southern California, the Iconic features a sealed drag system with carbon-filled drag material designed to deliver consistent pressure and manage heat during long runs. Its large-arbor spool provides fast line retrieval and substantial backing capacity, while the redesigned spool arbor improves ventilation and helps line dry between outings. The Type II anodized aluminum construction offers durability in demanding conditions, and the oversized handle provides comfortable control when fighting powerful fish. Available in large and mid-arbor configurations, the Iconic 9 Plus is built for permit, tarpon, striped bass and other hard-fighting saltwater species.
