Galvan Brookie Fly Reel

The Galvan Brookie Fly Reel combines classic click-style simplicity with modern precision machining in an exceptionally lightweight design. Fully machined from 6061 bar-stock aluminum in the USA, the Brookie features Galvan's innovative Click-Ball Tension System, which allows spool tension to be customized with an Allen wrench without the complexity of a traditional disc drag. Its exceptionally low startup resistance and smooth line retrieval make it an excellent choice for protecting light tippets and fishing small streams and technical trout water. Maximum porting reduces unnecessary weight while maintaining strength, and the large arbor design helps minimize line coiling. Available in four sizes and five anodized finishes, the Brookie is built for anglers who appreciate lightweight equipment and straightforward, dependable performance.
