Sage SENSE Fly Rod

The Sage SENSE Fly Rod is a specialized medium-action freshwater fly rod designed for precise Euro nymphing, exceptional strike detection, and superior control of light tippets. Built with Sage's Generation 5 Technology, its sensitive tip absorbs shock and protects fine tippets, while a powerful lower section provides dependable hook-setting and fish-fighting strength. Premium components include a lightweight Fuji stripping guide positioned for improved tight-line control, hard-chromed snake guides, a snub-nose cork grip, and a matte black anodized aluminum down-locking reel seat for improved balance. Its Stealth Grey blank reduces glare, while the extended rod design provides excellent reach and drift management. Handcrafted in the USA, the SENSE excels at technical trout fishing in rivers and streams where sensitivity, precision, and direct contact with the flies are essential.
